With a background in the world of theater, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and a Master of Arts in Culture, Aesthetics, and Media, Jaqui Dresen works as a multi-disciplinary media artist.

After focusing on experimental film and directing during her studies, she rediscovered her passion for acting and returned in front of the camera.

Today, she combines her experience in performance, cinematography, and conceptual storytelling to craft visually compelling narratives.

​

Her experimental works aim to connect people and emphasize that, in the end, everything can only truly move forward together. She works in a process-oriented way, loves to explore things on-site, and never wants to lose her sense of play and experimentation. 
The camera is just one of many tools she uses to tell stories.

Beyond her artistic practice, Jaqui is dedicated to connecting and empowering FLINTA artists. Creating spaces for collaboration and mutual support is at the core of her work, as she believes that creativity flourishes in strong communities.
